I'm Nikki and Welcome to my page!
I am a 30 year old mom of two, that also works full time but loves to crochet! I do not consider myself an expert, however I think it is a great skill and something that is fun and relaxing. I love to create things for my friends and family and seeing the reaction to such a personal gift.
As I started to watch and follow other avid crocheters, it has inspired me to work harder and more consistently on my crochet skills. I then hit a rough spot financially and thought it would not be possible to continue my craft and had to take a pause. I was so heartbroken that I couldn't continue with something I loved so much. Then one day I thought that there had to be others out there that are in a similar financial lull but want to stick with the craft they love. I figured there had to be a way that you could keep creating on a budget. Hence the creation of Nikki's Knotty Nook!

Here you will find free or low cost crochet patterns, yarns and tools to keep your creative hands working. There are so many patterns out there from amazingly talented artists. All with beginners in mind as well with instructional videos to guide you.
I will also help you to find good, quality yarn deals. With lots of research and tests on different yarns, I will find you all the yarn you desire that feels and looks great with any project toy wish to create.
Your last essential is your hooks and other tools. There are some great tool bundles and hooks that work well and especially for beginners. There is nothing better than getting all your basic hook sizes in one big pack!. It's a great start to your crochet journey!
My long term goal is to create tutorials and patterns for crocheters just starting out and looking to learn all types of stitches. Creating tips and tricks with a starter kit and guide to crochet is an ultimate goal and feat I'm ready to endure. I believe everyone that wants to start a craft and art like this shouldn't have to empty their wallet to begin their journey. I want to provide the community of crocheters with the resources and tools needed.
